Ninth Rabbit is an independent film and television company founded on 09.09.26 by British-Nigerian actor-writer Irene Akins to bypass traditional industry boundaries.

The banner was created as a home for distinctive, impactful storytelling with the nerve to take the unexpected route.

Our relentless identity reflects this: we are driven by the instinct to follow an idea into the unknown, wherever it leads.

At our heart is a fiercely original development slate of film and television IP, driven by a determination to seek out untold stories and champion unique voices.

We believe in cinema that lingers long after credits roll.
